Function/Description
The Authority for Brownfield Redevelopment was formed in March 1997 to promote the revitalization, redevelopment, and reuse of contaminated, tax reverted, blighted, or functionally obsolete property un Act 381, P.A. 1996, as amended.
The Authority has been actively promoting brownfield redevelopment by approving brownfield plans to stimulate investment on contaminated sites and receiving an EPA Brownfield Assessment Grant to position property for redevelopment.
